This John Brown is known only from the death record of his daughter Elizabeth, which lists her parents as John & Catherine Brown. I know of several John Browns with wives named Catherine in Morgan Co, but they were all younger than this Elizabeth. It is possible, however, that Elizabeth’s death record was incorrect in the names of her parents, as is fairly common for those who died at an advanced age when only their grandchildren were around to report their deaths.
