The LDS Ancestral File says that John died on 3 Mar 1802 in Lincoln Co., Ky, but it also says that he married Jerima Duncan on 26 Dec 1806 also in Lincoln Co. Obviously one of these events is in error. One possibility is that it was an entry error in the 1802 date, which might really be the date of Lydia Duncan’s death. Another possibility is that a different John Mauzy may have married Jerima Duncan.
