Most family trees give Mary’s birthdate as 1830, although I do not know the source. Probably either a gravestone or the marriage license, since she died before 1850. That date, however, conflicts with the 26 Jan 1830 birthdate of her brother Jefferson as recorded on his gravestone, unless they were twins. Jefferson’s birthdate is pretty firm, because it is consistent in all the censuses.
