Debord, William, 51, farmer, b. NC NC NC; Mary, 42, wife, b. Va Va Va; Elizzie, 20, dau; Martha, 18, dau; Sarrah, 16, dau; Feby, 14, dau; John, 9, son; Silvester, 7, son. All children listed as born Va Va Va, although that is inconsistent with William’s reported birthplace of North Carolina, and with the birthplace reported for Phoebe in 1870.
