Everett Ray Barker, 70, of Holiday, Fla., died March 21 [1987] in Holiday. A native of Olive Hill, he was the son of the late Louis and Mintie Bell Jones Barker. Mr. Barker was a member of the First Church of God and was a veteran of World War II. He was retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Bowen Barker; a son, Everett Ray Barker Jr. and two granddaughters, Sonia and Jennifer Barker, all of Orlando, Fla. Two brothers, Earl Barker, Springfield, Ohio, and Oscar Barker, Elliottville; three sisters, Ada Schreiber, Tipp City, Ohio; Grace Turnmire, Homossassa, Fla., and Dorothy Naus, Lakewood, Calif. Services and burial were conducted in Holiday.
