Notes for Maud Alice Howard
I cannot find a death record for Maud, but there is a grave in the same cemetery where Jesse is buried that says Maud R. Jones, Apr 9, 1892 - June 8, 1935, which matches the birthdate I had for Maud from Jones/Debord researchers. I don’t know where the middle initial R comes from, though.

Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 7, p. 375, records the marriage on 12 May 1910 of Jesse C. Jones, age 19, son of W. M. Jones, born in Ky, and Sarah Jones born in Va, to Maudie A. Howard, age 19, daughter of J. N. and Martha Howard, at his residence by Wesley Cox, witnesses Mary Cox and Martha Cox.
Jesse and Maud were first cousins.

I cannot find this family in the 1920 census. Judging by the birthplaces of their sons, they were probably in West Virginia.
