Notes for Gabriel “Hazelrigg” & Mary Susan (Family)
Most online family trees give a marriage date for Hazelrigg and Mary Susan as “about 1896”, presumably based on the birthdate of their daughter Pearl. But since Pearl and Escue were both listed as “lodgers” with the surname Crisp in the 1900 census, I suspect that they were never really married.
