The Kentucky Death Index lists Ernest 3 Riddle, age under 1, died 28 Mar 1920 in Bath Co., certificate Vol. 6, #02789.
The actual death certificate states an unnamed child, gender field blank, was born 28 Feb 1920 at home, and died 28 March 1920, with the cause of death being “stillborn”, burial on March 29 in Bailey graveyard. It is stamped as a delayed filing. I don’t see how a child can be “stillborn” and die a month after birth. It is unclear which is incorrect: the cause of death, the date of birth, or the date of death.
