Emmazetta’s parents were William Harrison O’Bryan and Anne Washington, who were married in Patrick Co., Va on 13 Dec 1845.
Census
Her birth date was listed as Sep 1849 in the 1900 census, but it is probably wrong. She was listed in the 1860 census of Floyd Co., Va as Emberzetta OBrien age 8, and in the 1870 census as Emmazetta O’Bryan age 17. So she was most likely born either in 1850 or 1851. (I have not found her parents in the 1850 census.)
