Since he was listed as age 2 in the 1870 census, his birthdate is more likely to be in 1868 or even 1867 than 1869.

Her death certificate records Rosa Lee Riddle, age 59 years 9 months 20 days, born 8 July 1875 in Mo, died 28 Aprl 1944 in Morris township, Sullivan Co., Missouri, married, wife of Thomas Riddle, father P. A. Beck, born in Mo, mother’s maiden name Charlott Dlllinger, birthplace unknown, cause of death renal toxemia, informant Mrs. Sylvia Morris, Milan, Mo.

Their marriage license records the marriage on 16 Aug 1892 in Browning, Sullivan Co., Missouri of John B. Riddle, over 21, and Rosalie Beck, under the age of 18, at the bride’s residence by B. Langdon, J. P. Consent given by P. A. Beck, father of the bride.

1900 census of Sullivan Co., Missouri, Morris township, enumerated 13 June, lists on p. 5B as family #97:
Riddle, John B., 28, b. Nov 1871, b. Ky Ky Ky, farmer; Rosa L., wife, b. Mo Ind Mo; Sylva M., dau, 7, b. Feb 1893; Marier T., dau, 5, b. Apr 1895; Oral B., dau (but M in the gender column), 2, b. March 1898. All children born Mo Ky Mo.

In 1910 he is listed as Thomas, but the list of children makes it clear this is the same family. His wife Rosa’s death certificate also gives his name as Thomas.

1910 census of Sullivan Co., Missouri, Morris township, enumerated 20 April, lists on p. 1B as family #25:
Riddle, Thomas B., 39, b. Ky Ky Ky, farmer; Rosa, wife, 32, b. Mo Ind Mo, first marriage for both, married 17 years, mother of 6 children, 6 living; Silva M., dau, 17; Temple M., dau, 15; Oral B., son, 12; Dama L., dau, 8; Otis, son, 4; Erman A., son, 1 11/12. All children born Mo Ky Mo.

The next household is Lee E. Riddle, age 45, with wife Alice age 35. This would be Ewell Lee Riddle, son of William Riddle and Mary Palmer. (I do not know of any relationship between these two Riddle families. It is somewhat curious that they would be next door neighbors.)
