Records of his birth are very inconsistent. The 1900 census recorded him as age 12, born Dec 1887, and the 1910 census as age 18, which would imply a birthdate in 1892. His gravestone has the dates 1890 - 1959.
The Kentucky death index lists Wheeler Brown, age 69, died 13 Apr 1959 in Rowan Co.
