His death certificate (scanned online at the Missouri State Archives web site) records J. R. Dillon, age 55 years 2 months 10 days, born 3 Feb 1856 in Indiana, died 13 Apr 1921 in Trenton, Grundy Co., Mo, married, husband of Mrs. Lillian Dillon, father Perry Dillon, mother’s maiden name Frances Perkins, both born in Indiana, cause of death injured by tractor, informant Mabel Dillon, Trenton, Mo., burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Her place of birth was indicated as Kentucky on the 1860 census, but as Missouri on the 1870 and 1880 censuses.
She is buried next to Jacob Rile Dillon, with a stone identifying her as his first wife.
Her gravestone has the date of death 10 Dec 1890, and says that she died at age 31 years 7 months. If one assumes that means 0 days, it would imply a birthdate of 9 May 1859, but she was listed as age 2 in the 1860 census, so I suspect that a birthdate in 1858 is more accurate.
