Her death certificate states Willierenca Downing, age 25 years 7 months 2 days, born 17 Jan 1897 in Lafayette Co., Missouri, died 19 Aug 1922 in Hazel Hill township, Johnson Co., Mo, married, wife of Clyde Downing, father J. H. Morehead, b. Johnson Co., Mo, mother’s maiden name Helen Martin, b. Johnson Co., Mo, cause of death tuberculosis, informant Mrs. R. C. Schooley, Odessa, Mo., burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

Their marriage license was issued on 29 Jan 1917 in Johnson Co., Missouri, for Clyde Downing and Willierene Morehead, both of Fayetteville, Johnson Co., both over 18 years of age, but the return states that they were married by Jas. L. Paris, Baptist Minister of the Gospel, on 31 Jan 1917 in Odessa, Lafayette Co., Missouri.
