Her death certifcate states Nancy Bowlin, age 68 years 1 month 13 days, born 26 March 1873, died 9 May 1941, married, husband’s name Lewis Bowlin, father’s name Lynn, mother’s maiden name Smith, cause of death malignancy of intestines, informant Lewis Bowlin, burial in Hayes graveyard, Wellington.

Lynn is not a surname that is found in Menifee Co. (Nancy’s is the only death certificate in the county that mentions it in any field), and in 1900 the neighbors of the Lewis Bowlin family included three Lyons families, so I suspect that her maiden name was actually Lyons.
