Census Notes for Albert Ray & Nellie Alma (Family)
I cannot find Albert and Nellie in the 1920 census.
The 1920 census of Lincoln Co., West Virginia does list an Albert Clark age 22, son-in-law with the family of Robert E. and Roxanna McClellan, but his wife is their daughter Lora J., age 18. This would not be an eariler marriage for our Albert, since Nellie and Albert were married in 1918.
1930 census of Boone Co., West Virginia, Sherman district, town of Seth, enumerated 11 April, lists on p. 5B as family #71/75 on State Road 65:
Clark, Albert R., 31, b. WV Ky Ky, age at first marriage 19; Nella, wife, 30, b. WV WV WV, age at first marriage 18; Oda, dau, 9; Ruth, dau, 7; Ilene, dau, 5; Billy, son, 3; Bettie J., dau, 4/12. All children born WV WV WV.
