George and Ardelia were second cousins (they each had one line of descent from David Lusk and Chloe Bailey) and also third cousins in four ways (they each had two different lines of descent from Richard Patton Bailey and Elizabeth Belcher other than their descent from Richard’s daughter Chloe.)

They had seven children. I am only entering their daughter Blanche because she had a daughter Mary Frances who married my 2nd cousin once removed Robert Lee McKinney (a grandson of Nancy Pettit.) I am only entering their Bailey ancestry to show the number of ways that Mary Frances descended from Richard Patton Bailey and Elizabeth Belcher (who also had many descendents who married my Clark relatives from Tazewell Co., Virginia.)
