Notes for Aaron Myers
Rowan County birth records list Aaron Myers born 17 Dec 1859 to Fielden Myers and Lucinda Myers, father born Morgan Co., mother born Fleming Co.
His death certificate records Aaron Myres, age 62, born in Bath Co., Ky, birthdate unknown, died 28 Aug 1918, marital status blank, father Fielding Myers, maiden name of mother don’t know, cause of death coroner’s verdict unknown causes, informant Mrs. Loueda Myres, Salt Lick, Ky, burial in Jones graveyard.
Aaron’s mother was Loueda Myers, but the informant must be a different Loueda Myers, or she would know her own maiden name.
Notes for Annie Goodpaster
Her death certificate records Annie Goodpaster Myers, age 65 years 10 months 23 days, born 11 May 1882 in Midland, Ky, died 4 April 1948 at R.F.D. #1, Trenton, Butler Co., Ohio, residence rural Miltonville, Butler Co., Ohio, widow of Erin Myers, father Jim Goodpaster, born in Kentucky, mother’s maiden name not known, cause of death coronary occlusion, informant Paul Myers, RFD #1, Trenton, Ohio, burial in Miltonville Cemetery.
The reported birthdate and age at death are wrong by four years; she was reported as age 2 in the 1880 census. While ages in censuses are often wrong by a few years, someone cannot be recorded in a census that takes place before they were born.
