The Kentucky death index lists Tom Hunt, age 95, died 19 July 1980 in Montgomery Co., residence Bath Co. (Note that this would imply a birthdate in 1885.)

Since he was listed in the 1900 census as age 7, born June 1892, it is likely that his age became inflated over the years. He may have been born in 1891, but it is unlikely to be earlier.

In 1900 Thomas was listed in Owingsville district 7, Bath Co., Ky, as age 7, b. June 1892, grandson, with Jerry Hunt age 63 and wife Margaret.

In 1910 he was listed in Wyoming precinct, Bath Co., Ky, as Thomas Hunt, age 20, brother-in-law, single, with the family of Isaac N. Toy (31), whose wife Alice (26) was Tom’s sister.

Since he never appears in a census with his parents, it is the death certificate of his sister Sarah Alice Hunt Toy which provides the primary evidence I have of his parents’ names.

The Kentucky death index lists Leona G. Hunt, age 85, died 22 Feb 1977 in Bath Co., residence same.

The SSDI lists Leona Hunt, born 7 May 1892, died Feb 1977, last residence Owingsville, Bath Co., Ky, SSN issued in Kentucky in 1973.

In the 1910 census Thomas and Leona were still single, but their first child was born in June 1911, so they were probably married sometime in the second half of 1910.

1920 census of Nicholas Co., Ky, Moorefield precinct, enumerated 3 Jan, lists on p. 2A as family #24:
Hunt, Thomas, 30, farmer; Leona, wife, 27; Mina A., dau, 9; Charles R., son, 7; Lillie M., dau, 4 4/12; Everett, son, 1 6/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.

1930 census of Bath Co., Ky, Owingsville precinct, enumerated 18 April, lists on p. 6A as family #159/166:
Hunt, Tom, 40, farmer, age at first marriage 20; Leona, wife, 38, age at first marriage 18; Charlie R., son, 16; Lilia M., dau, 14; Everett L., son, 11; Minnie V., dau, 6; Thomas H., son, 2 10/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.
