Her name was recorded as Kannie in the 1900 census, as Connie on her marriage license in 1908 and on the birth index for her daughter Marie in 1912, as Carrie on the birth index for her daughter Nola (probably a mistranscription of Cannie) in 1915, as Canna on Nola’s death certificate, and as Caney on her own death certificate. (I cannot find this family in the 1910 census. Nor can I find a gravestone for her, neither in Bradley Cemetery nor elsewhere.)
