Jasper Co., Indiana death register book 4, page 8, records Grover McClurg, age 42, died 6 Apr 1930, father Absalom McClurg.

There was another Grover Cleveland McClurg in Rowan Co., born 10 March 1885, son of Francis Marion McClurg and Sarah Amanda Thomas, so be careful not to get them confused. (The two were second cousins.)

I cannot find a death or cemetery record for Chelsie under the surname McClurg. Since she was widowed young, she probably remarried.

She was recorded in the 1900 census as Chelcy Patrick age 1, born Feb 1899, in the 1910 census as Chelsee Patrick age 11 (both in Magoffin Co., Ky), in the 1920 census of Scioto Co., Ohio, as Chelsie Patrick age 21, and in the 1930 census of Jasper Co., Indiana as Chalcie McClurg age 31.

1920 census of Scioto Co., Ohio, Bloom township, South Webster unincorportated place, enumerated26 Jan, lists on p. 12A as family #230/233, on Jackson Furnace Road:
Patrick, Benj., 43, widowed, occupation none; Chelsie, dau, 21, single; Archie, son, 10; Elsie, dau, 5; Lizzie, dau, 3 0/12. McClurg, Grover, boarder, 33, single, laborer timber. All born Ky Ky Ky.

1930 census of Jasper Co., Indiana, Barkley township, enumerated 21 April, lists on p. 5B as family #94:
McClurg, Grover, 42, age at first marriage 33, truck farmer; Chalcie, wife, 31, age at first marriage 22. Patrick, Ben, father-in-law, 54, widowed, age at first marriage 21, truck farmer; Archie, brother-in-law, 20, single; Lizzy, sister-in-law, 13. All born Ky Ky Ky.

According to Jasper Co., Indiana death records, Grover had died two weeks before this family was visited by the census, but the households are supposed to be recorded with everyone who was living in the household on April 1, 1930.
