I suspect the birthdate in this record is incorrect, the result of taking “one year old” a bit too literally, because the Kentucky birth index lists a son Clide McClurg born 18 Oct 1915 in Morgan Co., mother’s maiden name Armine Sizemore. Since a mother cannot have two children born two months apart, Chester and Clide are probably the same baby, and he was really about 1 year and 2 months old.
