The annual report of births to the Kentucky state auditor lists Lawrence D. Dougherty, born 2 Aug 1874 in Pendleton Co., father A. H. Daugherty, mother’s maiden name Rosa Belew, both born in Ky.

Her death certificate records Myrtle Iva Doherty, age 32 years 8 months 17 days, born 9 April 1879 in Menifee Co., Ky, died 26 Feb 1912 in Yale, Bath Co., Ky, married, father John S. Mynhier, mother’s maiden name Isabelle Donhewe, cause of death tuberculosis of the lungs, informant Lawrence Doherty, Yale, Ky, burial in Ginter Cemetery.

Their marriage is not recorded in Rowan Co., and the records from the 1890’s are fairly complete, so it was probably in Menifee.

1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pierce precinct, enumerated 5 June, lists on p. 4A as family #59:
Daugherty, Lawrence, 25, b. Aug 1884; Myrtle, wife, 22, b. Apr 1878, married 5 years, mother of 0 children. Both born Ky Ky Ky. (The reported birthdate and age are inconsistent for Lawrence.)

1910 census of Menifee Co., Ky, Beaver precinct, enumerated 20 April, lists on p. 4B as family #57/58:
Daughrity, Lawrence W., 35; Myrtle, wife, 32, first marriage for both, married 15 years, mother of 3 children, 3 living; Stella M., dau, 4; Delbert R., son, 1 10/12; Daniel C., 0/12; Mynhier, Clayton, brother-in-law, 18. All born Ky Ky Ky.
