His obituary at the Stith Funeral Home web site reported:
“William R. Presnell of Florence, KY died January 1, 2011 at the age of 80 in St. Elizabeth Hospice Center. He was a retired systems analyst for Union Central Life where he was employed for 42 years. He was a Korean War Veteran, member of the Erlanger Baptist Church, and a member of the Boone County Historical Society where he was formerly treasurer. An avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and was a proud member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR). He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Katherine "Katie" Presnell, as well as his daughter Nancy Rogers of Burlington, KY, his son Randy Presnell of Marietta, GA and two grandchildren, Zachary Rogers and Kristin Presnell. He is preceded in death by his parents, Laurence Hobert and Katherine Presnell and two brothers, Joe Hobert Presnell and Jim Presnell.”
