This couple is in my database to document the parents of Robert J. Gulley who married Nellie Pettit, and Harry Gulley who married Anna M. Pettit, and Lester W. Gulley who married Pearl Pettit.

Their son Manley’s death certificate lists his parents as P. E. Gulley and Elizabeth Rose, and states that they were both born in Boone Co., Ky, but other records suggest they were born in Lewis Co.

The “son” Alva should be a daughter. The preceding household is their son Robert with his wife Nellie (nee Pettit.)
