Records for William vary in the spelling of his surname, giving it as Roberson, Robertson, Robison and Robinson. It appears that the most common early spelling was Robison, but most descendants today use the spelling Robinson, so I’m recording it that way to make him fall together with his children in the index.

In 1870 he was listed with his widowed sister Mary, as William T. Robertson, age 19:

Bath Co., Ky birth records list Ann Eliza Lowery, born 20 May 1857, father Cary Lowery, mother’s maiden name Mary Sexton.

Her death certificate records Annie Robison, age 67 years 4 months 5 days, born 20 May 1857 in Ky, died 16 Sep 1924 in Owingsville, Bath Co., Ky, father Kiley Lowry, mother’s maiden name Mary Sexton, cause of death chronic nephritis, informant Arvel Robison, Sharpsburg, Ky, burial in Shrout Cemetery.

Bath Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage of William Roberson and Eliza Lowery on 12 Sep 1875.

1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, Owingsville precinct, enumerated 30 June, lists on p. 52 as family #562/564:
Robinson, Wm, 26, laborer; Ann, 22, wife; Nora, dau, 4; Jesse, son, 2; Ira, dau, 4/12, b. Jan. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The daughter Ira should be a son.
