“Ovella Hart Petitt, wife of Robert Petitt, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011. She was a 70 year old native of Bath County, the daughter of the late Earl Thomas and Lucille Harding Hart, a retired Jockey International employee and a member of the Protestant faith. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tracy (Chuck) Sorrell, and a stepdaughter, Patsy (Eddie) Butler, all of Mt. Sterling, 2 stepsons, Timmy Petitt of Mt. Sterling and Brent Profitt of Winchester, 2 grandchildren, Lacey and Kaitlyn Sorrell, 3 stepgrandchildren, Robie Nelson, Lou Ann Richardson and Windi Burns, and a sister, Scottie (Billy) Blevins of Mt. Sterling. Her funeral will be 1:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.”
