Her death certificate records Zerilda Whiteaker, age 71 years 5 months 11 days, born 8 Jan 1848 in Ky, died 19 June 1919 in Morgan Co., Ky, married, father George Brown, mother’s maiden name Mary Kendall, both born in Virginia, cause of death apoplexy, informant Alex Whiteaker, Stacy Fork, Ky.

Morgan Co. Ky marriage records list the marriage on 7 Jan 1869 of Alex Whitaker and Zerilda Brown at G. D. Brown’s on Caney Creek by Milton Lykins, witnesses Henry Barker and T. W. Brown.

This is not intended to be a complete family group. So far as I know, Zerilda is not related to my Brown line. I am entering them in my database only to record the parents of Myrtle Whiteaker who married Cornelius P. Caudill.
