MOREHEAD - Reginald E. (Reggie) Terry, Sr., age 61, of N. Bedstrow Blvd., Citrus Springs, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2006, at his home following an extended illness. Born June 20, 1945, in East Chicago, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ivan B. and Sabra S. McBrayer Terry. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Terry.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Bott Terry; three children, Reggie Terry, Jr. and his wife Christana of Crystal River, Florida; Lori Sonner and her husband William of Schererville, Indiana; and Jason Terry and his wife Angie of St. Petersburg, Florida; and nine grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, Larry Terry and Gary Terry and his wife Marjorie and one sister, Joyce Terry, all of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Reggie graduated from Lake Central High School in Schererville, Indiana. He retired after 30 years as a steel maker at Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana. He belonged to Local 1010 United Steel Workers of America.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the McBrayer Cemetery.
