Notes for Gardner Hopkins & Sarah “Sally” Ann (Family)
Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage on 22 Mar 1838 of Gardner Dyer and Sally Kash by Isaiah Cottle.
All of the death records for their children list Sally’s maiden name as Caskey, though (if they mention a maiden name at all - many just say Sally Dyer.) I cannot find any previous marriage record in the 1830’s for a Kash/Cash groom to a Sarah or Sally Caskey (or to any Caskey bride, for all that goes), so this may be an error in the marriage register.
All of the death records for their children list Sally’s maiden name as Caskey, though (if they mention a maiden name at all - many just say Sally Dyer.)
