Rowan Co Ky marriage bond book 1, p. 46, and marriage register book A, p. 57, record the marriage on 27 Feb 1884 of George W. Calvert and Elizabeth A. Cogswell, bond suretly by David M. Cogswell.

Many online family trees instead show them as married 27 Mar 1887 in Fleming Co., presumably based on Fleming Co. marriage records. It is fairly common for marriages to be reported in multiple locations, since the register books were compiled from minister’s reports, not from the bride and groom, and the ministers would often report the same marriage to multiple county clerks. But it would be unusual for the date to be off by more than one year. I wonder if I misread the Rowan Co. book?
