Samuel Parish, 25, laborer; Susan, 26; Nathaniel White, 25, laborer. All born in Ky.

Bath Co. Ky marriage records list the marriage on 29 Aug 1855 of Nathaniel White and Mary Ann McGlothlin, at the home of John McGlothlin, witnesses Joseph Wilson and Elisha Sorrell.

Although this record says Mary Ann, the censuses and the death certificates of her children are consistent in using the name Mary Jane.

1860 census of Bath Co., Ky, Owingsville precinct, enumerated 11 Aug, lists on p. 221 as family #1604:
Nathaniel White, 30, farmer; Mary, 26; Melvina, 1; John, 13. All born in Kentucky.

John is unlikely to be Nathaniel’s son, since Nathaniel was single in the 1850 census. He may be the same John White listed in Fleming Co. with the family of Daniel White and his wife Matilda. Perhaps Daniel is a brother of Nathaniel?

1870 census of Bath Co., Ky, White Sulphur precinct, Sharpsburg, enumerated 10 June, lists on p. 15 as family #107:
White, Nathaniel, 46, farm labor; Mary J., 35; Malvina, 11; Rebecca, 9; Hiram, 6; Margaret, 3. All born in Kentucky.

1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, Polksville precinct, enumerated 4 June, lists on p. 5 as family #40:
White, Nataniel, 53, b. Ky Ky Va, farmer; Mary J., 42, wife, b. Ky Va Va; Melvina, 20, dau; Rebecca, 19, dau; Hiram G., 15, son; Carry A., 5, dau. All children born Ky Ky Ky.

The next household is Natan White age 80 with wife Louisa C. age 51.
