Evans age 52 and his wife Chloe, age 49, both also born Ind Ind Ind. Putnam Co. Indiana marriage records list the marriage of a Thomas W. Evans and Chloe A. Wells on 30 Nov 1892, which woud be a good fit for McKinley being their double nephew. Perhaps the box-kite initial is meant to be Th.
