1880 census of Putnam Co., Indiana, Marion township, enumerated 22 June, lists on p. 32 as family #232/235:
Sinclair, Gilbert, 40, farmer, b. Ind Ky Ky; Susan, 38, wife; Richard R., 17, son; John, 15, son; Flynn, Cora B., 8, adopted. All children born Ind Ind Ind.
(The next household is headed by John S. Flynn and wife Catherine, both age 28, with two brothers Willouby Flynn age 30 and Charles Flynn age 16. Willoughbly is listed as widowed, so he would appear to be a good bet for Cora Flynn’s father. In the 1900 census, though, she is listed, still with Gilbert and Susan, as a niece Cora B. Flinn, age 28, b. Apr 1872. From Putnam Co. marriage records, Willoughby’s wife was Armilda E. Rains, and Susan Sinclair’s maiden name was Kinsler. I cannot find any marriage record of a Flynn or Flinn husband to a Sinclair or Kinsler wife. Perhaps her mother was a Flynn, and she was born out-of-wedlock?)

Notes for Cora Elizabeth Campbell
Her name was recorded as Lizzie C. Campbell on the 1880 census, on her marriage license, and on the birth record of their son Courtland in 1891, as Lizzie Campbell on the birth record of their daughter Clara, as Cora E. on the 1900 and 1910 censuses, and as Elizabeth on the 1920 and 1930 censuses. So the records are about evenly divided as to whether Cora or Elizabeth comes first.
