I am not related to this Evans family, and this is not intended to be a complete family group. I am entering them only to document the parents of Newton P. Evans, who is of interest to me because he married a Pettit, and because he and his wife moved to Putnam Co., Indiana, where many of my relatives on the Brown and Hall sides also migrated.
