The Kentucky birth index lists Charles R. Kidd, born 8 June 1934 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Lizzie Walk. (An apparent mistranscription of Malk, in turn a misspelling of Mauk.)
His death certificate records Charley Ramon Kidd, age 30 minutes, born and died 8 June 1934 in Rowan Co., Ky, father Dave Kidd, mother’s maiden name Lizzie Malk, both born in country, cause of death premature birth, informant Amanda Lambert, Crix, Ky. Amanda Lambert also signed the medical attendant section; she was apparently the midwife.
(I don’t usually enter children who died at birth into my database, except when they serve as evidence of something about the parents, in this case that David Kidd remarried to a second wife also named Lizzie.)
