Francis Perry, 33, laborer; Rachel, 27; Elizabeth, 7; Cornelous, 5; Luellen, 3; William D., 1; Lucinda Blair, 25. All born in Kentucky.
Lucinda is Rachel’s sister.
1870 census of Morgan Co., Ky, West Liberty precinct, enumerated 20 Aug, lists on p. 28 as family #182/184:
Perry, Frank, 42, farmer; Rachel, 37; Elizabeth, 17; Cornelius, 15; Lou E., 13; William D., 12; Lydia M., 9; John E., 8; Edmund, 6; Sherman, 3; Martha, 1. All born in Kentucky.
In 1880 this family is split up. Martha age 10 and a brother David age 5 are living with Cornelius, who is married. James age 6 is living with Daniel G. Perry age 35, recorded as a cousin. Edmund is living with Frank’s brother Cyrus (as are Frank’s father and stepmother.) Sherman is bound out as a farm worker to the family of Samuel S. Dennis and Georgia Ann Prater, recorded as Thos S. Pery age 12. Frank was reportedly still living (his death is variously given as 1893 and 1895), but I cannot find him. Perhaps he was living with his son William Daniel Perry, or his daughter Lydia and her husband Elihue Elliott, whom I also have not found in 1880.
