Lovel Sargent, 41, farmer, b. Va; John, 19, b. Va; William, 16, b. Va; Gabriel, 13, b. Ky; Elizabeth, 10, b. Ky; Elijah, 7, b. Ky; Rebecca, 5, b. Ky; Carline, 4, b. Ky; Margarett, 1, b. Ky; Martha, 1, b. Ky.
In 1860 none of these children are living with Lovel and his second wife Delila Blair. Margaret is living with the family of Hickman Cartmill age 31 and his wife Malinda Jane Peyton age 30, and Martha is living with the family of Nancy Peyton age 60. (I do not know the relationship of the Peytons to this Sargent family.)
Of the older children, William and Elijah are living together in Carter Co., both single. John is married and also living in Carter Co., and Rebecca is living with John and his wife. I have not found Gabriel or Caroline; they may also be together somewhere.
