Her death certificate records Margaret Logan, age 84 years 6 months 10 days, born in Brown Co., Ky, died 1 Aug 1934 in Falmouth, Pendleton Co., Ky, widow of Obanion Logan, father Robert McClure, mother’s maiden name Marry Evens, both born in Brown Co., Ky, cause of death cerebral apoplexy, informant Marry Trankler, Falmouth, Ky, burial in Goddard, Ky.
The image of this death certificate on Ancestry.com has a scanning glitch which elides the line for birthdate, but the age at death would imply a birthdate of 22 Jan 1850, which is consistent with the birthdate reported in the 1900 census. There is no Brown county in Kentucky; this was apparently a misunderstanding of Rowan Co., which is pronounced to rhyme with Brown and Down.
