Census
In 1850 Zachariah age 51 and Amanda age 23 were listed in Fleming Co. Since the household contained 6 children of Zachariah’s first marriage, to Delilah Evans, I’ve entered the details in their notes.
1860 census of Rowan Co., Kentucky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 16 Aug, lists on p. 50 as family #400/402:
Z. R. Johnson, 61, farmer, b. Va; Amandy, 33; Mahala, 18; Nelly A., 12; Elizabeth, 10; Queen V., 7; Isabel A., 4; Allice E, 1; John Reeves, 6. All except Z. R. born in Ky.
Amanda died the following year. See Zachariah’s third marriage, to Mary, for the 1870 census reading.
