The Kentucky birth index lists Jack L. Slone, born 11 May 1919 in Carter Co., mother’s maiden name Rachael Fultz.
It also lists Henry Sloan born 11 June 1919 in Carter Co., mother’s maiden name Rachel Fultz. There were not two Rachel Fultz’s in Carter Co. married to Sloan/Slone men. The record for Henry Sloan was filed in 1919, the one for Jack L. Slone was recorded in 1942, most likely as a delayed birth certificate in preparation for filing for Social Security, because his parents did not end up calling him Henry after all. (He was listed in the 1920 census as Lenard and in the 1930 census as Jackie.) Whether May or June is the correct month I do not know.
