1880 census of Menifee Co., Kentucky, Ridge precinct, enumerated 14 June, lists on p. 38 as family #313/329:
Catron, Stephen, 66, b. Va Va Va, farmer; Emily B., 67, wife, b. Va Va Va; William C., 24, son, b. Va Va Va, merchant, married; Mary, 19, wife crossed out replaced by granddau, married, b. Ky Va Ky; Alford P., 7/12, b. Nov, grandson; John C., 16, grandson, b. Ky Va Ky.
The relationship of granddau entered for Mary is probably incorrect and should most likely be daughter in law, that is, she is probably William’s wife.
