Rowan Co. marriage book 6, p. 549, records the marriage on 7 Mar 1909 of Lawrence Dewitt and Fannie E. Bragg. ( I did not take notes on the details.)
Their double stone in Forest Lawn Cemetery says DEWITT - Lawrence 1887-1980 : Fannie Estel 1892-1972.

1910 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Farmers precinct, enumerated 2 May, lists on p. 14B as family #241/238:
DeWitt, Lawrence, 21, b. Ky Ky Ky, farmer; Fanny E., wife, 18, b. Ky W.Va. Ky, first marriage for both, married 1 year, mother of 2 children, 0 living.
This apparently indicates a pair of twins who died in infancy sometime in 1909 or 1910. (Another pair of twins were born and died in 1911.)
I cannot find this family in the 1920 census.
1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pine Grove precinct, enumerated 10 April, lists on p. 4A as family #63/67:
DeWitt, Lawrence, 43, age at first marriage 20, farmer, b. Ky Ky Ky; Annie, wife, 38, age at first marriage 17, b. Ky Va Ky; Walter, son, 18; Clella, son, 16; Florence, dau, 13; Lenard, son, 10; Iva, dau, 8; Helen, dau, 5. All children born Ky Ky Ky.
