His obituary reported “Elvis Alfrey, 75, of Lincoln Park, Mich., died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at his residence. He was born May 27, 1925 and was an iron worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Rebecca (Hall) Alfrey. He is survived by a son, Michael (Susan) Alfrey of Carlisle; three daughters, Brenda (Doug) Bailey of Hamilton, Judy (Barry) Creager of Troy and Madelyn McAfee of Norris, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Todd Bailey of Hamilton, Toby Alfrey of Carlisle and Amy Alfrey of Louisville, Ky.; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathaleen Meyer of Middletown; and a half brother, Bill Alfrey of Mansfield.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Joseph Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Ave., with the Rev. Bob Stacey officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton.”
