Her obituary reported “Mazie M. Todd, 73, of Lynnville, died at 7:40 a.m. Friday, Sept 14, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born June 19, 1911, in Pittsfield, daughter of Harry and Edna Pettie Lynch. She married Vernon Todd Aug. 22, 1931, in Lynnville. He preceded her in death Aug. 2, 1979.
She is survived by three sons, Eugene Todd, Howard Todd, and Robert Todd, all of Jacksonville; seven daughters, Mrs. Richard (Rosie) Hoots of Winchester, Mrs. Roy (JoAnn) Wright of White Hall, Mrs. Robert (Karen Sue) Proctor of Jacksonville, Mrs. Bill (Martha) Coats of Streator and Mrs. Herbert (Donna) Woods, Mrs. Virgil (Sandy) Martin and Mrs. Allen (Joyce) White, all of Jacksonville; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Hugh “Mac” Lynch of Pine Bluff, Ark.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.”
