I cannot find any record of this Isaac Purvis other than the marriage record, so I do not know his birthdate or parents. There was an Isaac M. Purvis, born in Feb 1849, son of James Purvis and Jane White, but he married Serona Cooper about 1874, and was still married to her when he died in 1937. There was also an Isaac Purvis born about 1832, son of William Purvis and Malinda Jones, whose death date I do not know, but he would be 30 years older than Frances.

Cooper, age 79 years 5 months 15 days, born 4 July 1860 in Rowan Co., Ky, died 19 Dec 1939 in Rowan Co., Ky, widow of Ephran Cooper, father George Cooper, mother’s maiden name Mary Lykes, both born in Ky, cause of death shock due to 3rd degree burns, accident in home, dropped kerosene lamp & kerosene ignited clothing, informant Luther Cooper, burial in Pervis Cemetery.
