Notes for Susannah Bond
Some family trees report her as the daughter of Nathan Bond and Nancy Dickens, others as the daughter of Benjamin Bond and Elizabeth Lindsey. I do not know which is correct (if either), so have attached her to both sets of parents as a tentative link.

1850 census of Carroll Co., Virginia, district 11, enumerated 2 Aug, lists on p. 25 as family #188:
Thomas H. Marshall, 29, farmer, b. N.C.; Susanah, 23, b. N.C.; William E., 4; Levi, 2; Eli H., 5/12. All sons born in Virginia.
Also on the same page are families headed by Thomas’s brothers Abraham, Jesse and John, as well as Barton Smith who is married to his sister Polly. This suggests that perhaps the siblings are all living on land formerly owned by their parents (who are listed 9 pages back.)
