1850 census of Lee Co., Virginia, district 31, enumerated 14 Aug, lists on pp. 62-63 as family #424/440:
Jehu Collier, 40, farmer; Lucinda, 36; Amanda, 14; Marion, 12; Pellary, 10; Jasper, 8; Arena, 7; Rebecca, 6; Lucinda, 4; John, 5/12. All born in Virginia.
Jehu’s brother Aaron is at the top of page 62, in household #417/433.
1880 census of Lee Co., Virginia, Turkey Cove, Yokum Station district, enumerated 4 June, lists on p. 8 as family #58/60:
Collier, Jehu Sr., 70, farmer, b. Va N.C. Va; Lucinda, 67, wife, b. N.C. N.C. N.C.; Becca, 39, dau, single, b. Va Va N.C.; Wells, Floyd, 18, grandson, farm laborer, b. Va Va Va; Wade, Lafayette, 19, grandson, farm laborer, b. Ky Va Va. Collier, Margret, 13, granddau, b. Va Va Va.
Floyd Wells is probably the son of their daughter Velary, who married William Wells, although possibly not, since he is not recorded with her in the 1870 census. Lafayette Wade is the son of their daughter Amanda and her husband James D. M. Wade. (He is recorded twice in this census, the other time with James’ parents Castleton Wade and Margaret Duff.)
The only match I can find in the 1870 census for Margaret is the daughter of John B. Wade and Rebecca Roberts, which is curious since census records also suggest that John B. Wade is the son of Jehu’s brother Aaron John Wade.
The preceding household is headed by William Collier age 37 with wife Lizzie age 33.
