Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 1, p. 40, records bond issued on 27 Nov 1883 for Henry A. Kendall and Sarah A. Short, surety by D. P. Short. There is no return in the bond book, but marriage register A, p. 59, records that the marriage was performed on 29 Nov 1883.
