In 1900 she appeared in the census in Morgan Co., Ky, as Lou E. Jones, 19, born July 1880, single, lodger, by Ky Ky Ky, servant, with the family of Andrew T. Nickell (b. Feb 1846) and his wife Ceviller, b. Oct 1849. The reported age is consistent with her death certificate, but inconsistent with the 1880 census, which listed her as age 3 in June 1880.
