This family is no relationship to me. They are in my database only because there were two Mahlon Halls of nearly the same age in Pike Co.
Billy Joe Hall, son of the other Mahlon Hall, married my dad’s first cousin Joyce Hall, daughter of Bethel Hall and Leafie McClain, so the other one is in my database as a father-in-law of Joyce. When researchers google on Mahlon Hall and come across my web site, I want them to find both records and have enough information to be able to tell which of the two is the one they are connected to. (There was also a Mahlon Hall born in Oct 1898 in Floyd Co., son of Sylvester Hall and Elizabeth Newsom, but I am not entering him because he is less easily confused.)
